Bath time is usually on the weekends, especially if the sun is shining, however, this time Elmo wanted a shower! He was standing on the laundry basket, keeping Richard company, but then he started to shiver and shake as he looked at the water falling down into the tub. Elmo was excited!!
So Richard placed him on the dry end of the tub and Elmo, being the silly boy he is, backed into the falling water. He got himself thoroughly wet!
Georgie, on the other hand, wasn’t as adventurous. She stuck to having a bog standard bath!
Heya –
Just wanted to shoot you guys a note stating how much I enjoy reading up on your site. Georgie and Elmo are awesome. They’re so adorable.
My heart melts seeing them in photos and movies. I also enjoy reading the stories that you share regarding the day to day activities with the ‘kids’.
You two are wonderful as well! It’s great that you’re showing such great appreciation to your pigeons.
It’s been enjoyable having your site added to my favorites so I can check it out periodically.
Take care and keep on sharing!
(Side note – I tried submitting this via the pink Feedback Tab, buit there wasn’t any confirmation of it being sent. So I don’t know if you got it.)
Frank
Hello Frank, thank you for your comment!! It’s so nice to hear from other pigeon people.
I have been a bit slack in writing posts in the last month or so but I’ll get back into it if Elmo and Georige let me (they are like little children, always after my attention). Thank you for all the nice things you’ve said and I hope I can continue to entertain.
Cheers, Rev
How do you manage with the poop because I see that your pigeons are free on the house?.
Hi, we simply clean up after them all the time. Pigeons poo little and often so we are always cleaning.
Haa Ok, I do the same with mine he is free to move inside the house.
Do you have known people who travel every day to their workplace with their pigeons, is it better to let them at home the whole day alone or to take them with you, what cause less stress to them?
Hi Julia, I don’t know of anyone personally who takes their pigeons to work with them, however, I’m sure there are some people who do. If your pigeon doesn’t get car sick and is happy to be in a confined space whilst travelling and at your work, then I would think it alright to take them to work. It all depends on where you work (if the workplace is a stressful environment) and how your pigeon reacts to being in a different environment. My Georgie gets car sick and doesn’t eat well away from home, so it’s better for her to be at home where she feels safe. And Elmo can’t come to our work because he’d try to follow us about all the time. He’s a bit clingy.
Thanks for your reply, I will see how he reacts when I stay the whole day away, depending on that I will consider to take him wth me or not.
You have two lovely pigeons, mine is completly wilde but I love him and he has been just 4 weeks with me then I guess I must be patient to see some progress.
